Before we answer this, you’re going to need some background.
Crystal skulls clearly exist in the physical, their creation is only a matter of reshaping large chunks of crystals. However, the existence of their metaphysical properties is a bit of a hot take. People are always disagreeing about the nature of crystal skulls, and for good reason, because their nature is as vivid and complex as yours or mine!
Even within the spiritual community, there is debate, though there are certain consistencies from scholar to scholar. Crystal Skulls are used to expand consciousness and to re-remember the true self, and everyone can agree on this.
This word, “re-remember,” is meticulously chosen to describe this effect because the true self is not a state of being that must be learned. It is, and has always been, a part of each individual person buried deep beneath the ego and the busy-ness of modern society.
How Crystal Skulls Expand Consciousness
When I say “modern society,” I’m not only talking about electrical technology and the Internet, but also societal structures such as the 9-5 job, retirement, educational systems, and insurance. This is no place for spiritual scholars, empathetic healers, or psychic mediums, and here’s why.
Modern society has truly only existed for about 300-400 years, as well as modern science, so it only makes sense that our physical, evolutionary consciousness is still in shock due to such growth. The Age of Information specifically has overloaded our minds with so much distraction, anxiety, and technicality, which has forced the ego to step up and protect the mind and body.
Crystal Skulls help to create a space in which the ego can relax and our true self and assume control, even if for a moment. Our true self has always watched from within our minds, it knows our stories and experiences. By allowing ourselves the opportunity to embody it, we expose ourselves to internal wisdoms that the ego deemed not necessary for survival.
These wisdoms are necessary for happiness, not survival, and the metaphysical properties of crystal skulls allow us the clarity to recognize the absence of this happiness in our busy lives.

The Properties of Crystal Skulls
Although the effects of crystal skulls can be described as metaphysical, the science behind their effects is more physical and real than most realize.
Crystals, of any variety, gain their properties from their molecular compositions. From crystal to crystal, the structure is, of course different.
Some crystals have a molecular structure that creates short wavelengths, which produce low frequencies that are, for example, good for healing the Root chakra. Others, towards the violet side of the visible light spectrum, produce high frequencies, which are good for the Crown chakra.
These electromagnetic frequencies are also used and emitted by computers. However, modern devices emit a form of electromagnetic radiation that can be very harmful to our bodies.
